    Dans Hunger Games

    Les pacificateurs (Peacekeepers, en anglais) sont les forces militaires et policières de Panem. Ils portent des uniformes blancs avec une visière noire sur leur casque. Les pacificateurs viennent surtout du Capitole et du district Deux. Ils s'inscrivent pour 20 ans et ne peuvent ni se marier, ni avoir d'enfants. Ils sont dirigés par un chef de district qui est leur commandant et veille à ce que les règles émises par le Capitole soient respectées et punit les contrevenants, notamment par le fouet, comme Gale lorsqu'il est pris pour braconnage.

     

    Dans le district Douze, les pacificateurs appliquent moins sévèrement les lois, comme par exemple, ils achètent ce que leur proposent Katniss et Gales même s'ils savent que c'est interdit, ou aussi, ne mettent pas toujours le grillage du District 12 sous tension, jusqu'à que Cray disparaisse pour laisser place à Thread, le nouveau chef de pacificateurs du district 12
